It’s Baaaaaack!

After a hiatus of over a year, I’ve decided to restart this blog. Partly the result of having left Facebook as a means of sharing thoughts and poetry, and partly out of a desire to write as I wish without the constraints of Facebook text requirements, I’m once again using this framework as a way of communicating.
As before, I would love your feedback in the form of comments, responses, or emails (phooker2821@gmail.com).

Paul: You know I think you are a very fine poet, and I’m glad you’re back. I’ve been working too, and just had my first book (Simulacra) of 100 poems published by Mezcalita Press. So it can be had by the usual suspects (Amazon, etc.) but my editor urges going thru BookShop to support and keep alive neighborhood book stores’. Anyway – looking forward to reading you again, brother! — Shannon

Thanks for this, Shannon. Next time I get ready to publish, I’ll look into this. Haven’t been as busy with poems as with playing bass lately, but I need to get back to it. Hope you’re well.
